Frequently Asked Questions

Each engagement is scoped around a defined project, so you always know what you're working toward, but compensation is typically a combination of a monthly or hourly retainer plus milestone- and performance-based fees. This structure keeps us invested in your outcomes alongside the day-to-day work. At the outset, we align with you on objectives, deliverables, and a target timeline, so you know exactly what you're paying for and what "done" looks like before we start.
-
It depends on where you are in the partnership lifecycle — whether you need a strategy built from scratch, help negotiating a specific deal, or support scaling an existing relationship. Most projects run for a defined period with a clear end point; however, many of our client relationships continue well beyond the first engagement as we take on additional projects with them.

-
We're built to be lean on your side. Rather than needing a full internal team to manage us, we typically pair with just one or two of your key people and share day-to-day execution with them directly.

-
We've built partnerships across a variety of industries including payments, travel, fintech, retail, digital advertising, dining, and commercial services. The partnerships tool kit (structuring, negotiating, and scaling commercial agreements) flexes nicely across industries. Reach out and we'll tell you honestly whether your situation is a fit.

Yes. Renegotiating or revitalizing an underperforming partnership is one of the more common ways we get involved.
-
We take conflicts of interest seriously and will flag any potential overlap upfront before an engagement begins.
-
It begins with a conversation about where you are today and what you're trying to achieve. From there, we'll scope a defined engagement with clear objectives, timeline, and pricing before any work begins.
